Shipping and Handling
Flat Rate: $15 CAD standard, $20 CAD expedited
Local Drop-off: Free within Nelson, BC
Accessories: $15 CAD
Large Items: $30 CAD
*International customers are responsible for any import duties and/or taxes that may be incurred at customs. Because Northern Ultralight backpacks are made in Canada, no import duties should be applied for US customers due to NAFTA. This being said, besides indicating that our products are made in Canada on the customs form, we do not have any control over when duties are applied. Customers we have heard back from so far have not had any additional charges due upon delivery.
*Additional postage may be applied for larger orders. All shipping/handling charges will be visible during checkout.
All Other Countries
At this point we are only shipping products within Canada and the United States. We apologize for this limitation.
Northern Ultralight products are built to last! They have been tested and refined over many kilometres on long trails. This being said, because we are only a small company, we are not able to offer a lifetime guarantee. All products are warrantied for one year against manufacturing defects. While normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty, when possible, we can repair gear at a reasonable cost. If you have a concern, please email us at email@example.com.
Return and Exchange Policy
Products that have not been used can be returned within 2 weeks of date of delivery. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to initiate a return. All items must be approved for return prior to being shipped back to us. Upon receiving a return item, assuming it is in like-new condition (dirt-free, odour-free, hair-free...), the full cost of the item will be refunded, excluding shipping.
